StephanieStephanie Sigman is a Mexican American actress. Her first role was in the film Miss Bala, a Mexican crime-drama film Miss Bala. She also appeared in Pioneer (2013) and Spectre (2015). Sigman was a major character in Narcos (2015), S.W.A.T. (2017) and the second season of both shows. Sigman was born in Ciudad Obregon, Sonora, Mexico as the daughter of an Mexican mother and an American father, Lee Sigman, a New York Yankees scout from Kansas. Through her father, she's an U.S. citizen. The father of her, baseball player Kenneth Ray Sigman was her mother. Her career began on Mexican television before making her debut on film in Rio de Oro. She was the main role of Laura Guerrero (Miss Bala), a Mexican crime drama. The film was picked for consideration as the Mexican entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 84th Academy Awards. it didn't make the shortlist. 9. Sigman was awarded the Dublin Film Critics Circle Award in recognition of her work as film critic in 2011.
