Anna Paquin, a Canadian-New Zealander actress. Paquin is a native of Canada and actress from New Zealand. Born in Winnipeg but brought up in Wellington the city where she was born, she made her first acting appearance on screen in The Piano. In this romantic drama film at the age of 11, Paquin won her second Oscar for Best Actress. Anna Paquin's full name is Anna Helene Paquin. Born on July 24, 1982, at Winnipeg Manitoba Canada, she was an Canadian native New Zealand actress. As a child, Paquin won her the Academy Award for best support actress. She played teenagers as part of Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000), A Walk on the Moon (2000) and played in the role of polexia Aphrodisa character in Almost Famous (2000).
