Harry

Harry Edward Styles - also called Harry Styles - is a British musician and composer. Harry Styles has been recognized for his compositions for The One Direction band. The band is based in Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England Styles is the son of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, where, along with three schoolmates, he formed his own band, White Eskimo. The group was part of the Battle of Bands where thanks to their outstanding performances, they won. Though he's been attracted to the arts, he interested in becoming an attorney or physical therapist. For a while he worked for a short time in a bakeshop in the city he lived in to help economically at home. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in the year 2010 and did Is not She Lovely, a Stevie Wonder song. He was chosen. His band was forced to split up because of the fact that they were selected. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge who suggested Harry Styles to be part a future group called One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored five teenagers to join the group in 2010. The band of five was backed by Simon Cowell and sang Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck without You as well Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart. They were one of the most competitive groups in the competition. But they finished 3rd place, just behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles, his group as well as Cowell didn't get the win in the contest. However, Cowell offered Harry Styles a 2 million pound contract to sign up with Syco.
